THE MISSION:

Two technicians inspecting an aircraft engine with tools and safety goggles in a hangar.

As the sole aviation maintenance technician school north of Grand Rapids, Michigan, Legacy Aviation Learning Center in Traverse City is developing a workforce that’s confident, capable, and ready for takeoff.

Our 12-month Aviation Maintenance Program will educate approximately 50 students annually. Graduates will possess an airframe and powerplant (A&P) certification and be ready for immediate employment.

SOAR

THE VISION:

Equipped with the expertise, the space, and the support ecosystem to soar, Legacy Aviation Learning Center enrolled its first cohort of students in January 2024. Condensing the curriculum into 12 months, Legacy Aviation is positioned to offer a comprehensive, hands-on curriculum for $38,500 per student, which is on par with other AMT schools. This timeline sets us apart as an educational institution, as only one other AMT school in Michigan offers a pathway to graduation in 12-16 months.

Our accelerated program timeline removes the burden of long-term debt and propels skilled technicians into available opportunities.
